First flight outside Florida......let's go to Georgia.

After 100 hours of practice flying in Florida it was not time to do some real, serious cross-country flying outside the Sunshine State.   Since my son Kenneth lives in Georgia it was the perfect time to fly to visit him and show him the new airplane.

Landing in Tara Field (4A7) just south of Atlanta and only a few minutes from where my son lives.

US Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida

Every year in January the largest Light Sport Aviation (LSA) expo takes place in Sebring, Florida.   The event attracts thousands of pilots and aviation enthusiasts interested in Sport Aviation and LSA's.   This was the first event I attended with my new airplane.

Hundreds of LSA's are available to see on display.

Enroute to Sebring we saw a few wild fires....

The Captain very concentrated on his flight.

Second Trip as a Pilot

My second trip with passengers was to Cape Canaveral to visit the Nasa Space Center.  We departed Opa Locka Airport (KOPF) on a Cessna 172 and headed to Melbourne, Florida (KMLB) Airport where we would catch a taxi to Nasa.   The photos were taken by my son in the back seat with a high zooming camera.
