Second Trip as a Pilot

My second trip with passengers was to Cape Canaveral to visit the Nasa Space Center.  We departed Opa Locka Airport (KOPF) on a Cessna 172 and headed to Melbourne, Florida (KMLB) Airport where we would catch a taxi to Nasa.   The photos were taken by my son in the back seat with a high zooming camera.

First trip after I became a Pilot

My first trip after I became a pilot was to River Ranch (2RR).  This is a private farm / resort which is open to the public and has its own landing strip.   Once on the ground you can rent a golf cart to get around all day for $5.00.   The theme is country western and there are many people dressed up as cowboys.   There are many activities, rifle shooting, pet zoo for the kids, restaurants, lakes, fishing, etc.

This trip was on a Cessna 172 and my son and a friend accompanied me.

Going through the checklist
